Question well produvtion - recovery rate test

    Does anyone do these?
How long do you measure recovery for?
    Does anyone sub-out inspections?
How much do you pay for well reports?

    A.J.,
Personal opinion is to leave well testing to a lic. well company.
I do not think you want to have to pay for a new $8,000 well because you screwed up.
Wells can be a big issue if you do not know what you are doing.

Suggest that the client obtain the testing on their own. If you sub the job you also buy into the liability.

AJ, list your location instead of "at home" it will help others answer your question, many areas of the country regulate well testing.

A well recovery test is conducted by running water for a hour and taking measurements at start and completion either simply using a pail and stopwatch or a gauge specifically manufactured for testing.

Here is a Canadian Federal publication your requirements per your state may be entirely different.
