    Yep, NBC has uncovered this information. Good job NBC. Ummm... of course, it is old news. Just what have you been doing for the last 30 years or so? I bet they had to do some real investigative digging for this information. Maybe like type "FPE" in the google search bar. Makes me wonder what other stories are a day late and a dollar short.

    First: accumulate information - "...decades of documentation and electrical experts interviewed by the NBC Bay Area Investigative Unit." Then it is up to the investigative unit to disseminate the information to the general public as to the dangers of a "...short circuit, also known as “arching.”"
    I guess this "arching" is where the wires bend over backwards to try to make a nuisance of themselves.
    Anyway, it's still good to get backup for the information we have been putting out for decades now.
