Default HI Artography - Three Abstracts

One of my hobbies is to take pictures I shoot during inspections and try to turn them into something more. These are three abstracts.

Can you guess what they are from?

1&2 look like corrosion of some sort - when I first looked at #1 I thought maybe a close up of a dirty oven?

3 looks like insulation facing or similar.

Those actually look like nice photos - you must use a higher quality camera than I have.... or at least the lens isn't all scratched up like mine.

    Thanks for looking Matt.

#1 is a from a floor drain sewer back-up and the residue left behind.
#2 is a rusted (and leaking) boiler heat exchanger.
#3 as you guessed is torn insulation. I did some research on this stuff and the insulation was actually made with sea weed. Who'd a thunk.

Great photos and nice side-lighting on the insulation. You have the market cornered in HI Artography Mike.

    Nicely done.
You have time for a hobby? Too often my days of the week kind of just meld together. I'm constantly asking myself, "This is what day?"

The above statements are expressed solely as my opinion and in all probability will conflict with someone else's.

Unfortunately I had to crop the picture and reduce its size. Taken with my Sony Cyber Shot.

I take requests and thanks for remembering, John. I don't know which you mean for "In God We Trust."

The first 2 are a mystery. The 3rd maybe your pants after an arc flash?
