    Default Buried dimmer switch

I've never seen this before. Dimmer switches are behind the closet door casings with a hole bored for the knob. I'm going to write it up regardless but any help with wording is appreciated.

Not approved cover plate, fire hazard, not servicable?

Definitely not kosher that's just as bad as burying a junction box behind a wall.

    All of the above.

Breaking the building finish to access the box/dimmer is not kosher. I would say that casing renders the box inaccessible, this makes me wonder what structural issues lurk underneath.
