    Default "Chrysler" Gas Furnace

    House Built in 1969 and I have "never" ran across one of these before. Chrysler had a killer year in '69 - Charger, Roadrunner & The GTX. But really, furnaces?

    Used to see those a lot years ago. Haven't seen one in probably 10 years at this point.

    1934-Airtemp Corporation incorporated; became a division of Chrysler in 1938;
    1963-acquired Therm-O-Rite Products Ltd of Toronto-renamed Chrysler Airtemp Canada Ltd;
    1976-Chrysler sold Airtemp to Fedders

    I believe in the 1960s and 70s the first number in the serial number was the year.
