Are your power strips the kind that are made to be installed permanently or did they cut off the plug on a plug-in type and hardwire it?

The hardwired type is ok as long as it it GFCI protected and the spacing is right along the countertop. The plugin type I would question as a permanent wiring method.

I'm with Dick on the permanently installed and wired type.

However, for the plug in type, there is no question (does not replace the required receptacles), other than ... where is it plugged in? To a receptacle outlet?
