Strange electrical receptacle
Has anybody seen an electrical receptacle like this one before? I found several like it in bathrooms of a 25 YO high-end house. It has two small incremental dials labeled “Mâ€, “Aâ€, and “E†(red), on one dial and numbers “1â€, “5â€, “9â€, and “13†(black) on the other. As far as I can tell it’s not GFCI (wouldn’t trip from my tester anyway) and defiantly not AFCI. I showed this picture to several other inspectors and they all scratched their heads about it as well.
