    Default Strange electrical receptacle

Has anybody seen an electrical receptacle like this one before? I found several like it in bathrooms of a 25 YO high-end house. It has two small incremental dials labeled “M”, “A”, and “E” (red), on one dial and numbers “1”, “5”, “9”, and “13” (black) on the other. As far as I can tell it’s not GFCI (wouldn’t trip from my tester anyway) and defiantly not AFCI. I showed this picture to several other inspectors and they all scratched their heads about it as well.

Mike, been hanging around with the wrong inspectors. The X10 stuff has been around for a long time.
