    Default gas shut off inside furnace cabinet

    This seems obviously wrong, but I don't think I've ever seen it before so never asked.

    I've seen this same setup a few times and also called it out as incorrect.

    I'd write it up as a hazardous defect. The majority of the time I test those older brass valves they leak.
