    Default GEC splice in panel

GEC was spliced in the panel with a splice connector. GECs can't be spliced, correct?

If spliced the splice must be irreversible, otherwise it needs to be continuous. A thermal weld is also allowed.

All answers based on unamended National Electrical codes.

I want to suggest for GEC splice. Firstly, you can replace splice with a single crimped connector. A single irreversible compression connection has a strong opinion for proper splice.

    Thanking you..
