Default Find Age of Fraser Johnston Furnace

    Hi All -

Can anyone help me determine the age of this Fraser Johnston Furnace? The serial number formats I have looked at do not match this one. Serial #: A140029 . Please see attached pic of Data Plate. Thank you for your help.

Hi Raymond - Thanks for your reply. I did try that link; however, the serial number on this unit doesn't match any of the formats it provides.

Old. Currently a subsidiary of Johnson Controls. Can't be older than 1980, and is probably a 1971-72 production year unit.

I would say mid-70s based on the Carrier Blue Book. They were acquired by Borg-Warner in 1981.
