    Default One that got away?

I really expected to see a dead rodent near this.

I guess he is one that got away.

(This picture is my own invasive inspection after we closed).

No staple on this romex, in this bay.
Romex threaded through hole drilled in wall stud, within 12 inches of box.

Seems to be the case in Mfg Home (at least this one).

In standard housing, cables through bored holes still must be stapled within 12" of a clamped box and within 8" of a clamp less box. The keywords are "securely fastened". NEC 2008 334.30(A) and 314.17 Exception. In Manufactured Housing, cables are only required to be secured at boxes, if they are #10 and smaller. NEC 545.4(B) Rodents, on the other hand, are not required to be secured at all.

Don't even think that, PITA will lobby for it.
