Default Client Makes Best Statement This Year

At the end of my inspection today, the buyer said "you don't charge enough Nick. This was worth double what you charge".

Why can't all buyers feel this way?

And then you get the flipper who wants a huge discount because all three of the crap holes are on the same street.... but I don't mind driving!

The beatings will continue until morale has improved. mgt.

Then you have the buyer who is saved from a bad purchase as a result of your inspection and then asks about a repeat customer discount for the next inspection.

So I'm guessing even though he thought it was worth so much more, but he didn't pay you any more?

If I were you I'd put your prices up. The increase cold be in increments of $5 per month for a year.
Remember the cost of living goes up, wear and tear on the car, gas, insurance..

I bumped my prices up last year. Might need to consider it again.

When an inspector that has a steady clientel raises his prices (within reason) he usually suffers no loss in business and a positive gain in cash flow.
