Default Is the Air Scoop Directional

I probably never thought about it until today. There is an arrow on the air scoop above the expansion tank. The boiler flow was in the opposite direction. I imagine the arrow is there for a reason. Should it be flipped?

I would ask your have your boiler serviced and ask about this. Since I can not see the rest of the system I am not sure it is in backwards (it might just look that way)

Does it make a difference , well ya , they put the arrow there for a reason, not just decoration which is why you want someone to confirm that it is in wrong (which I doubt) You should have your system serviced anyways even if it is gas (which some say does not need service- wrong)

It is directional, I confirmed with my local boiler guy after the inspection.
