It is worth the additional classes and cost to take the fha and hud classes--Is there any market for hud and fha inspections or it as slow as the rest of the Housing Industry.

    Hello Dan,

In my opinion, there is no such thing as too much education or having attended too many classes. However, basing what I do versus what market I go after, the HUD/ FHA class would be far-far down on the list of classes to take.

Depending on your skill level and expertise, I would (if I'm considering which class to take for both continueing education as well assisting myself to become more marketable) be looking more along the lines of what is needed to get more of the market share-- today. Not some very small piece that may or may not materialize in the future.

Some considerations I would look at before doing the FHA/ HUD classes would be New Construction, IRC code classes and/or certifications or something along the lines that are going to make an impact now and not way down the line, in the future.

    Just my opinion...

Nope not worth the time or money, IMHO.

Spend that money on a national conference, like InspectionWorld.
