    Default Possible bearing wall removed

I was able to see through and access opening that a section of the bearing wall had been removed (row house/brick and mortar). How would you write that on a report? Thanks!

    Photos would help.

I'd say something like "section of bearing foundation wall has been removed. There is a potential of structural damage or failure. Further evaluation by a structural engineer is recommended for proper repair".

It doesn't have to be complicated. Let an engineer write up the recommendation for repair.

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.
