    Default Fire damaged home

Looking for some info. on the old plaster walls. Everyone says they have to be completely removed. I'm looking for some way to save them.

    Laura,
You need to give more information and details about the existing conditions surrounding you question. Fire damaged really does not say much. The conditions range from smoke to physical damage. Water damage to heat damage to the plaster. Then are the walls plaster over wood lath or something else? Is the plaster a hog/horse hair lime plaster? The questions go on and on.

Most damage of any kind can be fixed / restored. It usually boils down to cost.

Give us a lot more detail regarding your question.
