    Default Trying to remember...

Are wall mounted sconce lights allowed within the bathtub zone?

    Thanks,

Scott gave you the diagram, here is the answer: No.

Not unless they are above 8 feet high above the top of the tub.

    Thanks guys,

I didn't think so but none of the information I have or codes mention wall mounted, they all refer to corded, pendant or hanging, or track lights. Here's the picture, definitely not 8 feet above the tub.

    Thanks again,

    Eric

My sentiments exactly. It stuck out like a sore thumb when I first walked into the bathroom!

    Scott,

That backsplash reminds me of a home I did last week. The two stair cases of this 5900 sq ft home was leopard. Friggin-ugly (Fugly for short)!!
