    Default Multipel dry wall cracks

New here. The forum has a lot of very helpful information. Thank you!!
I’m considering purchasing a house but am concerned about various dry wall cracking in one part of the house. It’s a two story house with a basement with a poured concrete foundation, situated on a slope. Most obvious is a bedroom area on the 1st floor that has dry wall cracking on top of a support beam. It starts at a header and then runs vertically about ¾ way down and then horizontally to the corner and then again down to the floor. There is no continuation into the basement. Home Inspector say its just due to wooden frame shrinkage. However since there are a few other (minor) crack and only in this part of the house I’m concerned. Any advice/feeback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The first 3 pictures are one crack.
