    Default Electrical Feed

I saw a panel today that has a #2 aluminum wire and the third wire is a #3 copper wire. The white aluminum feed is connected to the ground bar and the #3 copper wire is connected to the main 100 amp breaker. Is this a correct connection?

    Mike,

I think we need more information. I cannot tell much from your post. It doesn't sound right though.

    #3 copper wire?
Three wire feed? No equipment ground?
    Older panel?
    Wire insulation type?
    Do you have a picture?
