I guess TREC will no have to add some new inspection items for roof inspections.

    What will they be?
Roof covering needs to be mowed ?.
Roof covering needs to be fertilized ?
Weeds were observed in the native grass and need to be removed by a licensed professional weed puller?
Roof is a single layer St Augustine sod over a bermuda grass base?
Roof not walked due to "Do not walk on grass" sign?
Dog poop needs to be removed?

Bet the HOA is going to have fun with what people plant on their house.

There is an underground house about 1/2 mile from mine. A few years ago, they removed all of the sod, did some work, and put it back. I've never been inside, but I can imagine what its like. Its been there at least 25 years that I know of.

I wonder if local ordinances (IPMC and other property maintenance codes) for grass over 12 inches high being not permitted will apply to grass roofs?

How high is the aforementioned "Roof covering needs to be mowed ?." SOP going to be?
