    Default Ladder accident

One of our inspector comrades just recently started his business and had an unfortunate ladder accident and was seriously injured and cannot work for months. It could happen to any of us. Just wanted to get the word out in case anyone wanted to help.

    Frank,

Thanks for posting. I kind of wish they spelled it correctly, though.

Interesting comment on the site by one of his neighbors (or someone that knows the family).

I see that. Keep in mind that sometimes another person puts up a go fund me page. The guy who fell from the ladder may not have posted that page.

A comment from the GoFundMe site.

"Your children are not young like your picture shows them to be. One just graduated from college and the other two have graduated from high school. You live in a very expensive home with a pool and you are deceiving (gofundme). Put your wife to work and downsize your living arrangements. You also have a brand new vehicle and you want everyone to feel sorry for you.......Butch Dallas"

The above post does make you wonder. Thought it may be bogus .

Also the page is at least 23 days old. The original "fund me" states he fell off ladder on Friday with no specific date, which gives me some pause in the request for money.

Yes I have become cynical and critical of on-line statemens.

Interesting that the last name on the complaint/comment is the same as the inspector. Estranged relative?

He checked out through TREC as having a valid home inspector license.

Hope he heals up and bounces back.

I got myself set up with a disability policy back in 2013. I don't like the monthly premium but knowing I have it is good peace of mind.
