I doubt that fan is damp location rated, it would to need to be damp location or wet location rated.

To know for sure, you would need to to remove the grille and read the labeling to see what it's listed for.

    Charlie,

Curious as to what that exhaust fan was rated for.

    Dry Location or Damp Location?

    Charlie,

Curious as to the height inside that shower (floor to ceiling), did it seem high enough, or kinda crampa heightwise?

A foot more than 6'2" is good.

The headroom clearance for bathrooms and toilet rooms is 6'8" (shower floor to shower ceiling, i.e., the "headroom" in a shower, is also minimum is 6'8").
