    Funny coincidence: a colleague contacted me today to ask for something written about the dangers of bootlegs. I shot him some of my old (2002) columns, and he responded with a link to Wikipedia's decent article on the subject.

    The reason I even mention this is because the Wiki article ends with talking about a system installed in Finland till about a (baker's) dozen years ago. They used, it says, a "ticker PEN wire" as both neutral and ground. Anybody have a clue what this is/was?

    Just a rabbit hole, but hey, they can be fun.
