    Default Mini Split Condensate Pump

Saw this one, which was new for me. Sahara condensate pumps in the attic to send the condensate drain farther and uphill from the head unit. According to the manufacturer, there is a sensor located in the head unit.

Have any of you tested the sensor? Can you pour some water into the head unit somewhere? I can't be in two places at once, but if I could see the water leaving the head unit I would be reassured that the pump was actually working.

I assume you're seeing one of those little yellow plastic units, I have only seen them a couple of times as most mini-splits here use gravity drainage.

I didn't manually test it, as water was dripping or flowing from the output tube.

I'm seeing alot more mini-split installs, so they will likely become a popular add-on.

I think this is the manufacturer of one of these little pumps.
