New Member
Hi, I'm a new member. I'm a teacher but do most all of my home remodel work. I pride myself on quality construction, but often need help on understanding building codes.

How is it dealing with your local jurisdiction? Are they comfortable granting homeowner's permits? Are people with the building department helpful when you have interpretation questions?
