    Default Water heater attic installation

I'm usually not a poster but I had to share this with folks that could enjoy it as much as I did. This is my mornings look at the new attic water heater for the remodeled Master Bathroom. Short of being installed upside down I don't know what else they could have done to make it better.
First how do you get to it?
Just walk on that silver thing.
Is that water in the pan?
No problem, it drains to that waste vent.
Oh! It's just the T&P leaking to the pan.
Hot distribution to the shower, tub and two sinks!
Really, there is enough PEX to move it around if you need to.
The tupperware is to catch the water from the old water line from the water heater downstairs in the garage.

    .
At least it's in an unconditioned space so nobody died.

On one of the 'remodel in progress' houses I saw recently I joked with the buyer that the only thing he should ask the seller to do is stop working on the house.... everything else just get a credit.

Looks like typical installation of the Brothers Plumbing team of Larry and Larry.

    Git er done.

That horizontal 2 x 8/10 is a novel way to hold those collar ties up!!

Not to mention those spliced rafters.

    Joe,

I'm afraid that I do not find the alleged "spliced" rafters. I see a valley and ridge at the right.

I assume that those 3rd valves under the sinks are the ''warm" water shutoffs?

In the 1st photo I see what looks like a spliced rafter and where's the switched service light and catwalk to service the WH? That installation is really something!
