    Default steamer-tpr

I tested a steamer today and noticed that the bathroom window was fogging up on the outside. I went outside and found steam coming out the tpr drain line. I dont know if this is normal to relieve pressure or if there is a problem? I an guessing that is not how it is supposed to work. I have never had this happen before. Any know anything about steamers help is appreciated. It was a Steamist electric unit.

The steam generator's TPR valve should not discharge during normal operation.

Was it the T&P or the drain line for the tank?

Some systems have an automatic purge valve that drains all the hot (and steamy) water after each use.
