    Default Clearance question

I found this for the first time and seem to remember that there was a code dealing with this situation. Anyone have it handy? The pics not that great but it is a gas line in behind the condensing unit. It was built this way in 1994 and did have final inspection stickers. I just seem to remember this being an issue.

The gas line can be there, but there needs to be at least (by most manufacturers) 12" between the condenser unit and the wall.

Now, if there was a regulator there, that would be a different matter.

Also, which side of the condenser unit has the access to the service area? That side requires 36" working space.

Thanks Jerry, I couldn't really think of many reasons why it would not be allowed there, but thought I remembered something on another thread.
