    Is a p trap to waste pipe allowed for ac condensation?

    During non seasonal use what keeps the trapped primed? If trap dries out sewer gases in the attic.

    Jim,

    Generally, you will see a drain pipe connected to the p-trap under a bathroom sink. Like Raymond indicated, a trap primer would be necessary in this case.
