    Default jacuzzi gfci if grounded?

Just wondering if need to tag a standard duplex if the motor is properly grounded to cold water piping. Thanks...

Ross, I don't know what you are asking here, so forgive me if I get it wrong.
Yes, you still need GFCI protection of the circuit even if the hydrotherapy unit pump is bonded to the water lines.

    Ross,

The motor is not "grounded to the cold water piping", the metal piping would be (should be) bonded to the pump bond terminal.

You've already got the other part of the answer - yes, GFCI protection ... regardless.

Ross, did you check the panel? I am finding more and more regular receps at whirlpools hooked to GFCI breakers.

Or the reset button hidden behind all the clothes in the closet or behind the towel rack.
