    Default New/Used Wheels

Here's my new ride. A 2006 Explorer (back to the Ford again - I guess we're a Ford house). It's so quiet and nice that it seems a shame I'm going to have to throw a ladder up on the roof rack.

Very pretty but you'll have to double your fee's to feed that thing.

    Very nice.

Time to raise the fees to pay for it.

Nick - With the price of gas being so high, I thought maybe you'd spring for a Smart Car!

Just don't park that Ford in the garage or too close to the rear of the home.

We used to be a Ford family too till....

Rick, are you any closer to getting satisfied with Ford's response?

I saw one of those on I-4 about two weeks ago - that little sucker was cruisin'.

I was doing about 68-70 and they went past me. Probably had it pedal-to-the-metal, but doing 70+ in that little thing? Impressive.

I saw a Smart Car too last week on the same road I broke down on in Philly. It looked like a toy and reminded me of the cars we saw in Ireland.

NO! They have offered a minimum settlement of pennies on the dollar and thats it.

Still have the attorneys handling it.

Keep fighting Rick! I bought a Mercury Sable, new off the showroom floor years ago. The problems were unbelievable and ongoing. It must have been one of those cars built after a liquid lunch. One day in final frustration I parked the car downtown and walked away to thankfully never see it again. I called Ford and told them where it was. If they wanted to pick it up they could, if not let nature take it's course.
I spent the next 2.5 years fighting with them. I think their lawyers finally told them I wasn't going away and wasn't going to be intimidated by them. I was fine with the final settlement.
