    I haven't seen it before unfortunately but it looks more like a roofing material cover than a roofing material, heat deflector, whatever. I'd like to know what it is myself.

    It does have adhesive underneath. I thought it was a heat reflective material as well but I have never seen this used as a covering before. I have been looking all over the net and cant find anything like it.

    Thanks Jeff.....Peel and seal is what it is...as soon as I put that in the search angine it popped right up...

    This is the first time I have seen it on a low slope roofing application. The website says it is good for moblie homes..

    Well it does look just a teeny bit unstuck at the moment I would say. I think the adhesive might be not what it was cracked up to be.

    Because of their design, mobile homes are especially warm in the summer months because they attract heat.
    This sounds like the same science behind the magnets for water treatment on another thread today.
