How are you answering the question on 4 point insurance forms Estimated Remaining Life? I do not see how I can estimated the life of a roof, HVAC, electrical or plumbing with any good conscince.

    Wink Re: 4 Point Inspections

I did some 4 point inspections for a few insurance companies and the rules they gave me were: a shingle roof in Florida had a life expectancy of 15 years; A/C Heating: life expectancy of 10 years; Plumbing: they want to know if it's Copper-CPVC or Galv. has it been updated and in good working order; Electrical: they want to know if they have fuses or breakers, type of wiring and condition. Also manufacturer of Breakers. ( didn't want KNOB & TUBE )

I tried to give a fair estimate of condition by appearence. They also required pictures to back up my findings.
