    Default Yellow gas line buried??

Came across this gas line that appeared to be coming out of the ground. It was connected to a buried propane tank and going to a fireplace. I have never seen this type of buried. So before I write up the obvious gas line not protected. Anyone know if this yellow stuff can be buried?

    Thanks

In addition to the "WARDFLEX shall not be buried directly in the ground" (which would also apply to other brands) there is the issue of "protection from physical damage" that would be quite large as that is installed, buried or not.

    Hi Rick

Sounds like you are looking at a form of CSST. It can not be buried without protection and the protection must be visible at both ends. ie pvc or other means.
