    Uhh.... yea.... its old.

    The homeowners have been there for 35 years and it was there when they bought it. Has not been serviced in 10-15 years professionaly.

    Homeowner worked for the electric company.

    I already recommended a new boiler just on age but I am curious how old the thing is and if the model and serial number will tell.

    A lot of the boilers I see around Philadelphia have a foil tag wired inside the front cover with the date of installation kind of imprinted on it.

    You could always call or write to National Boilers at
    National Boiler Service - Contacts .
