    Benjamin,

Your post is derogatory and inflamatory.

Welcome back Aaron. You and I often butted heads but you do have a lot to offer to the forum. Looking forward to your input and contributions.

    Yeah ... but I haven't moved.

(In case you don't know where that came from, it is from an old joke: A couple were driving along in their car and the wife turns to the husband and says "Remember when we sat next to each other while driving?", the husband replies "I'm haven't moved." )

    "The Derating Begins June 1st"

    Aaron,

Stuff like that is what I find hilarious in a way: "The Derating Begins June 1st"

Let's see, we've been using new growth trees for what - decades? The engineers have found that the new growth trees do not have the same strengths as the old growth trees the old values were based on, so the values are reduced ... but the reduced values do not start as soon as this is discovered, the reductions start "June 1st", as though all the trees felled during the month of April were suddenly lower, so the the April trees which were processed, dried, and shipped in May are now being bought and used in June.

But the trees felled last December are okay with the higher values?
