Cold joint with void
My friend just had a foundation pored and it has a void and a viable cold joint on both sides. The void goes clean to the other side it's about as big as your finger tips.the cold joint is really bad on the other side but no picture will this cause problem in the future?

Re: Cold joint with void
Pic please.
For the most part a cold joint is the concrete pour of the foundation interrupted, by what every means.
Where is the cold joint in relationship to the footing and grade?
What do it look like?
How long is the cold joint seam?

It appears it will be above and below grade the void at the top will be above grade and runs at an angle it's about 8-10 foot long and runs from the footer to the top - - - Updated - - -
