Efflorescence on foundation parging !
Hi again,
If you have read my previous post, you know by now I have issues again with efflorescence.
This time I noticed that white powder all along the foundation wall on the parging. Why could possibly cause this problem.
Thanks again for your help in advance.

Hi Christian,
Do you have a picture of a larger area? What is above/behind/adjacent to this area?
Has a moisture meter and/or reading been taken? How long has this been going on? Age of structure?
What you are showing... is maybe nothing or an indication of something else... not sure.

If snow is piled up against the wall and then melts it could be the cause.

Based on the pic, I'm going to assume that's a veneer brick wall. My guess is the water is coming from the top down and soaking into the top of the concrete. That doesn't look like water coming up. Start looking at gutters, downspouts, eaves or bigger drainage plane issues as culprits.
