PVC pipe terminating in crawl space
I am wondering if some one might be able to tell me what this goes to or what it is for. This is a 2005 built home the PVC pipe is below the kitchen area. I am not shure how to write it up or if I should even mention it.

Yes you write it up. Simply say that you do not have a clue as to what it's purpose is.

How about an over flow for a water heater. Is there a water heater in the kitchen?

Re: PVC pipe terminating in crawl space
Well, they were so thoughtful that, when they installed the pipe, they push the insulation down with it. Nice.

There is a brow stain at the end of the pipe and on the plastic below it.

While I do not know 'what' it is, I do know that 'no pipe' is allowed to drain to the crawlspace.

I really like those 2x4 studs right behind it, look just jammed up against a concrete footing and another 2x4 above it ... that 2x4 above it has little strength laid flat-wise like that, and what's to keep those vertical 2x4s from moving and falling out?

Discharge from down-draft range fan? Not that it should terminate in the crawl, of course.
You definitely want to include it in your report even if you have no clue.
