    Default Carbonmonoxide meter

Dont wish to spend more than $150 -400. Anyone have any suggestions with what you may be using? Thanks.

I'm not sure if you're looking for a fixed station CO alarm with a digital display, a personal protection alarm which "sniffs" and alarms for CO, or equipment for use (by one trained) in combustion analysis.

Either way I'd suggest you check out what DavidR and Bob Harper have already contributed on the subject, and follow up with them. Depending on what you're looking for, the budget might be unrealistic.

You might start with their contributions on this thread (including the info on a suggested course ) :

Let me ask this another way.
I wish to find out what model CO meters you guys are using. Looking for the good and bad aspects of the various models.

Bacharach Monoxor III for checking gas appliances and ambient air. Monoxor II as a back up.

Either one will cost more than $400 new.

I use the UEI CO71. It is pretty durable and fairly inexpensive.

UEI Carbon Monoxide Detector displays CO from 0-999 ppm - Mfg# CO71

If you look around, you can find a better price sometimes.
