This is the first time I have seen the LG Skyscraper fully extended, it's huge.

Re: Little Giant Skyscraper
At 103 lbs, I would not want to be setting that up indoors single handed.

Has anyone had experience with the Werner MT-26?
I have the MT-22 and am thinking about getting the biggest one, but the weight has me questioning as well a having to put it back out in the elements on the Scion roof rack due to the folded length.
The MT-22 only extends to 19 feet which is about 2-3 feet short for some of the 2 story houses I see and I hate not being able to walk the roof. According to the charts, the 26 is 15 lbs heavier than the 22 and the 22 is pretty much a hand full when standing it up when fully extended.

You may need a back brace for the one...

Re: Little Giant Skyscraper
I bought a Little Giant 22' so I could get to those roofs that were just out of reach of my LG 17'. I found it too heavy to use safely. Now if I need the extra height, I put my old 25' extension ladder on a rack.

I have a 26 foot Little Giant which I would use for two story roofs, set it up by myself too.
My main problem was the balance point - I'm 5'6" and can barely reach beyond its balance point. Never lost control of it yet, but have come close a couple of times.

You may be only 5'6'' but you cast a long shadow.

Re: Little Giant Skyscraper
I would not use a flip open ladder to climb up to a 2 story roof. Extension ladder is the only way to go. 2 stories plus a few feet over the eve and distance of lean to be safe. All that weight of you and a flip open ladder pushing on those stops.
I just don't fell comfortable with that.
