Tramex meter keeps beeping - InspectionNews

My Tramex Moisture Encounter Plus meter sometimes won't stop beeping after I pull it away from the material being tested. The only way I can get it to stop is to disconnect the battery. When I re-connect the battery it works normally again.
Anyone else have this problem?
I just emailed Tramex about it.

Yes, I noticed that mine will do that as well but only after it has become hot sitting in my truck. I just turn it off and back on and it works fine. I do not have the Plus I have just have the Moisture Encounter..

Did you try Banging it with a Knocking stick... Sometimes that helps...

When was the last time you sent it off for recalibration ?
