Microwave leak detector. - InspectionNews

What is the feeling on MICROWAVE LEAK DETECTORS, I don't use one, and wondering if I should invest in one. What makes are recommended. Thanks for the input.

I too, do not use one. In general, I do not use many toys/gadgets. If it's old, I recommend replacement.

Nope, never had one either.

And I had a lot of toys and gadgets, many people called me "Inspector Gadget", but I always tried to stay ahead of the useful curve, and even tried to define the useful curve for others to follow.

I used one for the first few years I did inspections and never found a 'leak'. I gave it up after that.

I used one for the first few years I did inspections and never found a 'leak'. I gave it up after that. That was back in the 1990's when people were concerned about microwave leaks and RF. They don't seem to care much anymore, now it is mold, drywall and radon from granite counters.
