Re: Free B-cam basic training
I took my infrared training for Level I Thermographer from ITC.

If you are interested in getting an infrared camera, that on-line class will help you consider what it does better.

IF YOU HAVE OR ARE BUYING an infrared camera, take the Level I Thermographer course.

Either the ITC course or the Snell Infrared course.

Re: Free B-cam basic training
Jerry is right. I don't know anything about this basic training but if you plan to actually go out and used an infrared camera for a paying client you really need proper training in thermodynamics, heat transfer, some hands-on experience and practical uses of the camera in the manner in which you intend to use it (all of which you will get in a Level I certification class). Basic training should teach you just enough to decide whether you should pursue this avenue. If you only take basic training before heading out and using an IR camera for paying customers then you probably know enough to be dangerous.

BTW, I took the ITC Level I Certification class last year and was very pleased with it.

Re: Free B-cam basic training
Jim, Barry, Richard,
Thanks for the posting. The course was a nice refresher. I would hope that I am never so learned that I won't bother to even look at information. When it comes to IR, if it's published by Gary Orlove or Gary Strahan, I consider it likely to teach me something.

Thanks again.
