Condensate drain line/Furnace Vent

I was searching in the 2006 IRC for codes that indicate that the primary drain line is required to be insuated and for furnace elbows to be strapped, but I couldn't find the code reference.

Does anyone know what the IRC reference are?

As far as the drain line, I do not think it is addressed. Try the manufacturers installation requirements.

I assume you are talking about the furnace flue pipe being supported?
Try 2427.10.10 in the IRC, I think this is the section that covers what you are asking. Also the vent pipe manufacturer might have specific requirements.
