The 14 gauge wire is not connected to this HVAC disconnect box and should be enclosed in it's own box. :)

That's the low voltage wiring ... see it coming out of the fitting with the power conductors?

*NOT ALLOWED* in the same raceway or enclosure as the power conductors.

By the way, you also wrote up the white wire with the red tape, right?
