AC CONDENSER DRAINING INTO SINK DRAIN

GUYS---IS IT OK to have the ac units condenser pipe draining into bathroom sink drain pipe if there is a vent stack under that sink--never saw this before thanks cvf

I'm not sure what you mean by a "vent stack under the sink". Are you referring to an AAV?

Anyway, I believe you can drain condensate into a tailpiece, but before the trap. After the trap and you run the risk of sewer gases venting back into the HVAC system.

There should be an air gap, usually we find these draining into the washer drain with an air gap

That appears to be a class of PVC or schedule 40 pipe (DWV)
Hope it is schedule 40.

PVC Hot Blue LAVA Cement.

Its wrong IMO.
