FPE panels.

Does not mean they are any good, mind you, just that they were never recalled.

Re: Quick reference list of recalled items
Brian - do you have a link that provides an updated list of current and/or former recalls? What you have done is a real service, though I, like most probably, cannot keep up with all these recalls!!! I have a list with me of certain things that are commonly known, but keeping a list, and checking it, of all this stuff would be enormous.

Of particular concern to me is that Square D notice - I see Square D stuff every day! Is there ANYTHING that the Chinese don't pirate!!?? They are something else. Who knows if it isn't a concerted effort... they pirate SO MUCH stuff, and apparently a lot of it is dangerous.

The AO Smith/State water heater notice bothers me too. I see their water heaters often, particularly the propane tanks.

A link would be very appreciated. You are the man! Thank you for this post!

Hi Jay,

Other than the list above that I keep updated you can sign up at the CPSC to be e-mailed when a new alert comes out.
