What type Moisture Meter is best for home inspector
I am looking into updating one of my poorly working/old moisture meter to Extech MO290; Pinless Moisture Psychrometer + IR.
Can any one provide some input, if this meter is good idea or is there some thing better out there plus where to buy and at what price?
Thank you.

Look into the GE Protimeter Surveymaster. It has a pin-less scanning mode as well as contact pins. Expect to pay $400-$450.

GE Protimeter Surveymaster is definately the one to get. After doing a bit of research I found one on E-bay. Works great, came with all the attachments and accessories.
Still see them on E-bay from time to time. If you buy on E-bay make sure it comes with all the standard parts.

Have 2 pin Extechs and they seem to go bad after light use.
Will not buy that brand again.
